David Liston

Founder, Co-Owner & Director of Fitness


David is the Founder and Co-Owner of Stadium Fitness. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is NSCA Certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has been working in the field of health and wellness, exercise and nutrition for over 25 years.


David is also a Fitness Accountability Coach and Nutrition Consultant and designs fitness and weight loss programs for individuals, small groups, and corporations around the world. He has worked with CEO’s, business owners, adults, kids, amateur and professional athletes and has a passion for helping people live strong, healthy, and balanced lives. 


In 2012, David was named to the Ambassador program at Lululemon Athletica Pasadena and is currently an Alumni Ambassador where he is recognized for his contributions to the community both on and off the field.  



Jodie Liston

Co-Owner, Director of Operations & Fitness Coach

​Jodie grew up in North Andover, MA where her participation in sports began at age 5.  From childhood through high school, she played soccer for one of the state's top programs and also excelled as a sprinter for the indoor and outdoor track teams.


Jodie earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire and moved to Southern California after graduation. Here, she has enjoyed success in several other areas of the sports and fitness arena including an 8-page feature article in Shape Magazine - Building a Gym Body at Home, On-air sports reporting for KTLA-5 and now as a Fitness Coach and Owner of  Stadium Fitness. She is also the Co-Owner and Director of Operations for Stadium Fitness Yoga & BB360 and in 2013 was named to the Lululemon Athletica Ambassor program in Pasadena.


Jodie is also a mother of two and has experienced firsthand the importance of a healthy diet and consistent exercise routine before, during, and after pregnancy. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and inspiring other moms and moms-to-be to achieve their fitness goals.


Nikki Markota

Fitness Coach

Nikki was born and raised in Los Angeles. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln where she earned a scholarship as a member of the Husker Swimming and Diving Team.


While at the university, Nikki trained under Boyd Epley, who was the Executive Director and Founder of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is widely considered to be the pioneer of modern strength and conditioning training.


At Nebraska, Nikki developed a passion for fitness, nutrition and wellness, which she uses to motivate and inspire others today.



AB Ali

Fitness Coach

AB grew up in the Pasadena area for most of his life. Training as a competitive tennis player since age 3, he played for the Egyptian National Club for 4 years, then returned to Los Angeles to continue his training.


AB attended New York University on full scholarship, from where he graduated in three years. He has been training and working with athletes all his life and continues to bring his infectious energy, heart and sense of humor to each and every class he coaches.


AB is passionate about not only helping people get into shape, but getting them to consider themselves athletes too.

Peter Kwon

Fitness Coach

Peter is a native Californian. He attended the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in International Business. Growing up and loving Los Angeles based sports teams, his first job out of Cal Poly was with the Staples Center where he developed his skills as a customer service professional and now brings that expertise to Stadium Fitness. 


Peter competed in Track and Field as a Shotput, Discus and Javelin thrower throughout his high school and collegiate careers where he gained most of his resistance and weight training knowledge. 


Peter relates well to newcomers at Stadium Fitness as he is his own success story losing over 70 pounds. He is very passionate about health and nutrition and gains satisfaction in helping others in the program achieve their weight loss goals, while having a positive impact on their journey to a healthier lifestyle.
